Illustrating for the children’s market has got to be the best job in the world. My art is whimsical and fun and I love trying to create emotions in my characters that the reader can relate to. I start with traditional artwork which I scan into my computer and then add texture and patterns in Photoshop. Each job that comes my way is another chance to put a smile on someone’s face. I live in my studio, work from my home and share it all with my Airedale Terrier, Gracie.
